Objectives Kyushu University has collected scientifically valuable specimens and archives for research and educational activities. They have been kept separately in different laboratories (see below). The Kyushu University Museum was established in April 2000 to unify scattered specimens and to construct their databases. There is no museum building at the moment, and it will be constructed at the new campus.
